How to Access PalmHost Webmail

Access PalmHost Webmail

PalmHost provides browser-based webmail through SnappyMail. You can use webmail to read and send email without installing an email application on your phone or computer.

Open PalmHost Webmail

The simplest way to access webmail is through your domain:

https://yourdomain.co.za/webmail

Replace yourdomain.co.za with your own domain name.

Your domain's webmail address redirects to the PalmHost SnappyMail service at:

https://panel.palmhost.co.za:8443/snappymail/

Sign in to your mailbox

  1. Open your domain's /webmail address.
  2. Enter your mailbox email address.
  3. Enter your mailbox password.
  4. Sign in to SnappyMail.

Your mailbox login is separate from your PalmHost Client Area login. Use the email address and password belonging to the mailbox you want to access.

Using your mailbox

Once you are signed in, SnappyMail provides the normal tools you need to work with your mailbox.

You can use webmail to:

  • Read incoming messages
  • Write and send new messages
  • Reply to and forward messages
  • Organise messages in your mailbox
  • Search for messages
  • Manage messages you no longer need

The exact appearance of the interface may change as SnappyMail is updated, but your mailbox and its messages remain accessible through the webmail service.

Webmail or an email application?

Webmail is useful when you want to access your mailbox directly from a browser without configuring an email application.

You can also connect your PalmHost mailbox to a compatible phone, tablet or computer using an email application. That requires the appropriate IMAP and SMTP settings for your PalmHost mailbox.

If you cannot sign in

First check that you are using the correct mailbox email address and mailbox password. Your PalmHost Client Area password is not necessarily the same as your mailbox password.

If you can access other PalmHost services but cannot sign in to webmail, check that you are using the credentials for the specific mailbox you are trying to access.

If you still cannot access the mailbox, contact PalmHost through Support in your Client Area. Include the affected email address and any error message shown by webmail.

Do not send your mailbox password or other confidential credentials in a support ticket.
